libvoipdial - let the PC do the dialing

The main aim is to provide a 'click 2 dial' service for various platforms, starting with Linux, for users of VoIP phones.

Basic actions are:

  1. User/Computer selects (remote) number to call.
  2. Registers with Phone's Service provider.
  3. Call User's own phone, which rings.
  4. When user picks up, computer automatically attempts 'unattended transfer' to 'remote' number.
  5. User is left in ringing/conversation with 'remote' number.
  6. Computer un-registers with Service provider.

The intension is to start with SIP and then add other protocols, such as Asterisk and Cisco SOAP, as the project develops

The library will provide a sample console application to start with, and then various Gui front ends which would interface directly into different desktops to provide the service in a more intuative manner.

LGPL license so that it could be used with commercial product, if it ever gets that good....
